When in Rome...

I am finally back to blogging! I haven't blogged in over a year and to be honest with you I have no idea why because I love it. I think I forgot how much of a positive distraction it is away from everyday life so you can expect to see more regular posts from me! - Side note: I am working on the layout of my blog so you may also see a couple of changes.

I wanted to mix up my blog a little and add some fashion, lifestyle and travel posts as these are  the type of blogs I enjoy reading. At the start of the year I was taken to Rome for my 22nd Birthday -which was amazing! Of course I snapped loads of photos over there but I've chosen as select few which are my faves...

The Vatican

Cute coffee shops

The Palatine - My favourite view!

My best one <3

The Colosseum

View from the Spanish Steps

If you are thinking of travelling to Rome I would highly recommend it. Its a fab city break with lots of culture and so many things to see and do, it is impossible to be bored! My main tips would be comfortable shoes, hence the trainers! You can opt to use public transport but you miss all the best views and you get to experience real Italian culture. The food....the coffee? Seriously THE best I have ever had, I would go back purely for those reasons alone!

Let me know if you have visited Rome or are planning to!

A week in outfits...

I loved posting my week in outfits previously so I thought I would do another one. Its quite varied mixture of outfits as its just been Christmas and the lazy days in between the New Year. I often take pictures of my outfits on Instagram daily I just need to get into the habit of blogging them often!

I love this cosy roll neck jumper dress! It was only £14 from Primark too, paired it with my biker boots, leather jacket and chunky scarf.

This photo does not do the trousers justice they are paisley printed and were only £14 from George at Asda, yup a supermarket! Even better when my top was £3 in the sale, woo!

Opted for all black but dressed it up with this New Look vintage print blazer for a couple drinks with friends. Outfits like this are my fave as I feel dressy and comfortable!

I wore this outfit for Christmas Day/Night the dress is from Topshop and one of the nicest dresses I own as it can be dressed up or down, I wore it with my burgundy chelsea boots from Bank.

A very casual outfit that I threw together an ended up loving. A basic tee from Primark, Joni Jeans, leather jacket and a chunky scarf is always a winning outfit for me when I can't be bothered to put much thought into an outfit!

A much more dressy outfit as I wore this for New Years Eve, all black errythang (of course) I always try to opt for colour but it never really goes to plan...Dress/Playsuit is from Zara and was £20 in the sale, shoes are Topshop also £20 in the sale and the bag is my fave thing atm from Clarks £30 in the sale!

Last but not least, my obsession for coats continues as I don't think having more than 10 is ever enough. I got this from the kids section in New Look as I'm usually in Petite sizes the age 14 coat fits well (the perks of being a midget, ha!) Also loving this polo neck from New Look and my beloved Joni Jeans!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and wish you all the best for 2015!

7 ways to wear biker boots...

Lately I've been loving my new biker boots, perfect for the colder months coming up! I'm not a fan of long boots as I feel they shrink me and make me look even smaller than I already am, ankle boots are always a winner!

I haven't taken them of my feet since I bought them, they are so so comfy, they have cleated soles which I also love! Here is a few snaps of what I have styled the boots with over the past week...

I've recently just purchased a 'Gilet' and I'm in looovvveee. It's so warm, only thing I dislike is that it malts everywhere! I wore my leather jacket underneath as I really like the combo of the biker boots and leather jacket!

This is my first ever bomber jacket, and I got it for an absolute bargain at Primark for £3! Its pattern is like blue water splashes I wasn't sure about the bomber jacket hype but I do love this one!

One of my fave outfits so far, the polo neck is massive right now and I love them, got one in nearly every colour, also worn with my Topshop Jamie jeans!

Chunky scarf's are a must have for me in the winter months and they are also big this autumn winter, this one is a houndstooth that I got from Primark for £5! The jumper is the one I posted about previously and I'm still feeling the love for the oversized comfiness!

A little bit of a smarter outfit but I loved wearing a pop of red with this tartan skirt I got from Zara last year!

My fedora is again one of my faves this year, I've also worn this A LOT this year! Another polo neck in grey and a very monochrome outfit!

Gingham is again everywhere at the moment and I'm a huge fan, I just always go for black white or grey (mainly black but you can never go wrong!) Again the biker boots paired with a leather jacket and a chunky scarf!

The boots are from Clarks (of course) I love them, they are a little pricier than most chunky boots on the high street but they are real leather and I would consider them an investment purchase. They are £100 but Clarks have a 20% off promotion going at the minute so if you want a pair I'd get them soon! You can see them on their website here!

Hope you found this post useful if you are wondering how to style chunky boots!

You fit me better than my favourite sweater.

Having just spent the weekend in Bruges and coming back to a miserable cold rainy Leeds I thought I would do a post on the outfit I wore over the weekend. It's a vibrant colour and the weather was beautiful so hopefully this is a little post that will perk up this miserable Monday!

I have never been to Bruges so I honestly didn't know what to expect but I was amazed and in awe of how beautiful it was. Such pretty scenery and architecture that it actually reminded me of Beauty & the Beast, such a beautiful town.

The weather was fortunately on our side as it was rather sunny! Opting for a jumper wasn't the best idea but I loved the colour and it was perfect for when it got a little chillier in the evening!

The jumper is definitely a statement colour and not usually something I would opt for but when I tried it on I fell in love! I bought it from H&M for £15 and a little advice would be that they are large fittings I got mine in xs. I do love an oversized jumper but the small and medium sizes weren't very flattering to say the least!

Jumper, Bag & Necklace: H&M
Jeans: Topshop Joni
Shirt & Sunnies: Primark
Boots: Clark's
Nail Polish: NYC Street Walker
Rings: Market Stall

I'm going to do another post on Bruges as I took so many photographs of how truly beautiful it is so keep posted!
